Roles and Responsibilities :
Business & Process :
- You are highly collaborative and will develop a vision to advance our organizational goals.
- Present to clients and prospective clients on results of current projects as well as new business opportunities in relation to operations, analytics, and strategic offerings.
- Contribute to the success of the overall team by participating or co-leading training, commercialization prep, product, or partnership development initiatives as needed.
- Lead complex client engagements by closely coordinating business and technical resources for ongoing projects.
- Align with local Finance for office P&L management ensuring we are meeting and not exceeding set budgets.
- Foster day-to-day relationships with technology partners; meet with new technology companies as needed.
- Support teams to build central repositories of process docs, technology evaluations, and recommendations on workflows.
- Manage communication with counterparts overseas and build relationships with stakeholders.
- Oversee overall financial management, planning, systems, and controls.
- Negotiate contracts with local providers when required.
- Review existing operational processes and develop and deploy new ways of working.
- Document all processes and client/market specific nuances to ensure highest standard of delivery.
- Ensure all deliverables are met as per deadlines.
- Resource management to support the varying needs across the markets and clients.
- Identify opportunities to implement new tools to create cutting edge solutions.
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including an initiative geared toward operational excellence.
- Escalation and resolution management.
- Put processes and structure in place to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of services.
- Create externally facing use cases and communications that showcase the capabilities from the GCC.
- Participate in new business pitches as needed.
People & Culture :
- Create a vibrant, high-performance work culture.
- Manage a team of 1,000 + people and be responsible for their performance and growth.
- Source candidates locally and generate a pipeline through industry outreach programs as well as external recruitment agencies.
- Set up training for all new starters and participate in the up skilling of existing teams.
- Set up practices that will build a culture of excellence and talent retention:
Conflict resolution :
- Clearly defined jobs and roles so there are clear performance metrics
- Create career progression for each member of the team
- Mentor and train the local team to ensure career growth and job satisfaction
- Work with HR on an employee engagement calendar with a goal to upskill talent and reduce churn rate
Skills Required
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to draw conclusions based on data.
- Ability to investigate, analyse and solve problems while clearly communicating results.
- Handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with the ability to learn and apply new concepts and tools quickly.
- A strong attention to detail, well organised, and possesses the ability to prioritise multiples tasks under pressure.
- Excellent project management and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ideally comfortable in a consultative, client-facing environment.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.

Qualifications & Experience :
- 18+ years\' experience managing large scale, commercial operations with a team of 800+.
- Experience in the Media and Advertising industry.
- A post graduate degree in a technical discipline.
- An MBA or equivalent management degree would be preferred
