Our research teams continually identify and analyse financial information, strategic issues and trends that affect companies, industries and markets on a regional and global scale.Role overview: The Tactical Research Group (TRG) provides bottom-up research into investment strategies by combining stock, thematic and macroeconomic analyses. Since foundation in 2005, the group has developed a suite of investment styles leveraging the unique GS database (Quantum) and quantitative models such as the Buy-out model, Factor Profiling Scores and CROCI methodology. Combining these tools with views from micro analysts, the Investment Review Committee/Director of Research (DoRs) and also macroeconomics, the team advocates selected screens, thematic ideas and stocks. The role of the TRG analyst based in India is to focus on analyzing market based data for the purpose of publishing thematic or quantitative research. The idea is to focus on the quantitative tasks initially as well as developing more value added proprietary products for the team over time (i.e. move up the value chain as earned).Job Responsibilities:
