We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Global Head of Workforce Platform / CTO.

Work Location : Hyderabad / Pune

Role Overview:

The Workspace Lead will be responsible for leading and coordinating the bank\'s Workspace services, ensuring that our customers and employees have access to high-quality and secure workspace services.

Reporting to the CTO Head of Colleague & Collaboration the role will work to ensure world class technology solutions that enable business success by leading strategy and delivery.

Managing a direct team and budget of circa 400 resources, the role will support the outcomes of Vision \xe2\x80\x9827 across Speed, Scale & Resilience whilst accelerating the build out and development of a world-class CTO capability that attracts, nurtures and retains talent.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the bank\'s Workspace portfolio, which includes End User Computing, systems management and Virtualisation, as well as global Application Delivery and Endpoint Management.
  • Lead the Workspace Platform to successful delivery of business outcomes.
  • Strong commercial awareness looking for ways to drive down RTB costs through automation, less TOIL and efficient use of Infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with other departments within the bank to ensure that services meet business requirements.
  • Conduct assessments of services to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulations to ensure that the bank is always aligned with the latest developments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure that the bank\'s services are optimized for performance, cost and security.
  • Participate in the design and development of new services, working closely with other technology teams to ensure seamless integration with other systems and applications.
  • Establish partnerships with external organizations to leverage expertise and resources.
  • Develop and maintain metrics and reporting mechanisms to track performance and communicate results to stakeholders.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to increase awareness and engagement of technology staff.
  • Manage the associated budget, with ongoing focus on personnel, vendor, and capital expenditures.
  • Lead a team of professionals and coordinate their activities to achieve goals; develop workforce strategy to meet the organizations current and future needs through developing, hiring and grooming talent.
  • Work closely with the bank\'s security and compliance teams to ensure that services are secure and compliant with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for the services.
  • Establish a robust communication and support mechanism across CTO, Technology and Business teams.
Requirements
  • Qualification : Engineering degree and overall experience of 20+ years, post qualification
  • Proven experience as a Workspace Lead, ideally in a banking or financial services organization is preferred
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to Workspace
  • Strong technical knowledge of relevant technologies and DevOps ways of working; strong knowledge of Workspace technologies is essential
  • Expertise in Strategy, Business Planning, Governance and Stakeholder Management
  • Experience in planning and managing significant expenditure in a complex organization
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve their goals
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
