The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing the Payroll and Accounting verticals of the firm. In this capacity, the Senior Analyst/Associate will work closely with the finance and accounting senior leadership team to evaluate and execute payroll, key financial and strategic initiatives and functions for the business and interact directly with clients, employees, and vendors globally.\xef\xbb\xbfKey Responsibilities:\xc2\xb7 Leading end-to-end payroll processing and administration related activities.\xc2\xb7 Global payroll exposure for India, US & other entities.\xc2\xb7 Oversee employees - compensation and benefits plans.\xc2\xb7 Calculating and verifying employee salaries, benefits, and deductions in accordance with company policies, employment contracts, and legal regulations.\xc2\xb7 Ensuring timely and accurate data entry of payroll information and maintain precise payroll records\xc2\xb7 Responding promptly to employee inquiries and concerns regarding their payroll.\xc2\xb7 Assisting in payroll tax calculations, deductions, and submissions to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations. For e.g. extracting statutory reports, reviewing data for E-TDS payment as well as returns.\xc2\xb7 Knowledge of preparing and filling ECR for PF is mandatory requirement.\xc2\xb7 Knowledge regarding compliances such as PF, TDS, PT, GST etc. is highly desirable.\xc2\xb7 Participating in process improvement initiatives\xc2\xb7 Building and maintaining positive relationships with payroll service providers and vendors.\xc2\xb7 Collaborating closely with the HR and Finance teams to exchange relevant payroll information and resolve payroll-related issues\xc2\xb7 Review, process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded in the company accounting software.\xc2\xb7 Accurate and timely processing of global accounting transactions. Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.\xc2\xb7 Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.\xc2\xb7 Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to government stipulated legal and company accounting and financial guidelines.
