About the department The Commercial & Corporate Affairs, GBS unitis responsible for driving deliverables for multiple Corporate Vice President (CVP) areas including Commercial Planning, Multi-Channel engagement, Marketing & Market Access, and Commercial operations. The Commercial & Corporate Affairs GBS unit also provides competitive assessments & market research for NovoNordisk (NN) therapy areas including diabetes & digital health, obesity & NASH, cardiovascular, chronic kidney disease, rare diseases. We support global commercial strategy, corporate strategy including new product planning, and Research & Development (R&D) teams enabling strategic and operational decision making. The Position As a Global Competitive Intelligence Manager, you will be responsible for providing the best possible data-driven assessment for therapy area (TAs) such as diabetes, obesity, and other serious chronic diseases such as NASH, CKD, CVD. Provide overview of digital health (DH) & device competition with fact-based insights, and analysis of key market & technological trends, regulatory & market access updates. Represent competitive intelligence function with DSS department. Drive quarterly updates of Competition Monitors (currently on drug delivery devices, diagnostics, disease monitoring devices, and disease management solutions, Software as a medical device (SaMD)/Digital therapeutics (DTx) etc.). Continuous tracking of pharmaceutical DH activities, big-tech initiatives for select TAs, health-tech investments. Strengthen ad-hoc deep-dives including partner scans, technological landscapes. Ensure timely monitoring, analysis, and communication of all relevant competitor activities to the stakeholders. Drive process to establish overview of near-, medium- and long-term challenges and opportunities posed to Novo Nordisk and provide input to the monthly \'Competitor news\' internal electronic newsletter on competitor developments relevant to Novo Nordisk. Responsible for relevant updates from major scientific/technology congresses such as ATTD, DTM, and others. Qualifications Bachelor\'s or master\'s degree in Medicine or Life/Pharmaceutical Sciences. 5+ years of working experience from competitive intelligence industry focusing on the pharmaceutical or medical device industry. Good understanding of relevant aspects for the development and marketing of drugs, devices and digital solutions, including device and digital understanding, drug landscape know-how, technology insight, disease understanding, market understanding, clinical knowledge and regulatory knowledge. Significant experience in professionally communicating scientific, technological, and commercial information to audiences at various organisational levels.
