Your responsibilities include but not limited to :

• Understand and implement data architecture that meets business strategy, optimize operations and solve business-related problems:

o Analyze, organize and aggregate complex, raw data sets from multiple data sources.
o Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS \'big data\' technologies.
o Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: auto-mating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infra-structure for greater scalability, etc.
o Prepare data for prescriptive and predictive modeling, support complex data analyses and reporting use cases to address business needs.

• Write maintainable, performant code, implement DataOps philosophy and data engineering best practices. Create and maintain systems documentation
• Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, Product teams and other functions to provide data-related technical support and ensure data needs are addressed
• Implementation of Global Development, Portfolio & Pipeline data architecture to ensure availability of trusted data for data consumers by building and maintaining data products.
• Set-up of efficient (automated) data workflows and processes that meet desired data quality and business needs.
• Adherence to applicable Security and Compliance policies and controls; defined project management methodologies, tools, and practices; and to delivery processes for Digital & IT projects.
• Adherence to applicable policies and controls for running applications/products

Minimum requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role
• Experience using (big) data platforms, frameworks and solutions (examples: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.)
• Professional experience with relational SQL and non-relational NoSQL databases, including Oracle, MySQL, Postgres and MongoDB
• Hands-on experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: AWS Glue, Airflow, Luigi, or others
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services: EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift
