Detailed Description: The Enterprise Information and Platforms organization (EIP) delivers technology foundations, standards, processes, and governance required to support an enterprise approach to information management spanning multiple business entities, disciplines, and platforms.u00A0 This position will serve as the Cloud Analytics Engineer by providing strategic technical direction and project consultation for the EIP Cloud/On-prem Services. The resource will be responsible for the design, development,u00A0enhancement, debugging and implementation of Cloud and on-prem analytics services utilizing Agile methodology.u00A0 The services in this category include AWS and Azure analytics services such as SageMaker, OpenSearch, Azure Cognitive Service but is expected to grow into supporting various other services. Competency: AWS Cloud Analytics Engineer: Individuals in Enterprise Analytics are considered as subject matter experts on the Cloud/on-prem Analytics products for their function to provide recommendation on Cloud analytics services. u00A0Note:u00A0All information management roles should have a foundational set of knowledge in communication, leadership, teamwork, critical thinking skills, solution / blueprint definition, business acumen, architectural processes (e.g., blueprinting, reference architecture, governance, etc.), technical standards, project delivery, and industry knowledge. Desired Technologies: 5 - 8 yearu2019s direct experience with AWS/Azure analytics services such as Amazon SageMaker, OpenSearch, and Azure Cognitive services, etc. Good to have experience in IBM Watson products such as Watson Explorer, Watson Discovery, etc. Good to have knowledge on ML and NLP concepts. Hands on experience in using CloudFormation and ARM templates to create resources on AWS/Azure cloud platforms. Experience in managing operational support and implementation of large-scale, enterprise level solutions. Oversees and provides technical direction in design, install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, test, monitor, and analyse the performance of the AWS Data Instances. Provide detailed usage, storage, and system performance to management. Design data models, implement, automate, optimization and monitor data pipelines for data engineering solutions. Advanced knowledge of platform security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards. Expertise with the design of infrastructure and integration into new and existing database systems Working knowledge on different AWS technologies such as S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, etc. and explore and learn the latest AWS technologies to provide new capabilities and increase efficiency. Should have worked on at least 1 project involving hybrid cloud implementation. Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation. Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be self-driven, and deliver high quality results in a challenging environment.
