Primary purpose of the position: (Describe the scope of the position)
• Responsible for implementing and supporting complex solutions that meet business needs. Ensures delivery of complex solutions by configuring and implementing to system specifications. Configures and enhances technology solutions that align with business needs. Ensures solutions are in alignment with the enterprise architecture blueprint, the solutions architecture, and ensures that systems and application designs adhere to standards and policies.
Essential Responsible Areas: (Describe the key responsible areas)
• Participates in efforts to elicit future systems requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis to analyze, design and implementation business solutions for complex business problems.
• Participates in efforts to communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (functional requirements (business requirements document), iii, use cases, GUI, screen and interface designs).
• Ensures the delivery of high quality technical solutions that meet business needs. Configures, develops, tests, monitors, and supports changes and enhancements to applications systems.
• Takes a broad perspective to identify innovative business solutions that challenges the business on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans.
• Develops and maintains an in-depth knowledge of the application portfolio and its correlation to the business' tactical and strategic plans.
• Utilizes industry best practices where relevant to Ball's future.
• Work closely with third-party vendors including software providers, implementation partners, and consultants
• Assist the team with user acceptance testing requirements for existing and new business systems and modules
• Manage the configuration and setup of related application solutions
• Supports all phases of the SDLC (software development life cycle).

• Provide support for developing, defining, and documenting business requirements/functional specifications that describe the business need and solution scope for the Time 2 Pay portfolio
• Support the development of technical specifications align to the business requirements
• Remain up to date of technology trends, opportunities, compliance, and regulatory requirements within a defined capability/service delivery area
• Understand and communicate to stakeholders how system enhancements will impact the company's business processes
• Focus on understanding how system functions and processes will generate the intended outcomes for business
• Support the system/application release updates process including socializing pending changes with Business Teams
• Provide support to business analysts, solution architects and enterprise architects, adhering to enterprise architectural frameworks and roadmaps to design processes, systems, and information/data architectures
• Build and maintain an in depth knowledge of the processes, systems, and data in a defined capability/service delivery area
• Support key system testing periods ensuring proper documentation is produced and business requirements are satisfied
• Gather and understand any technical or functional defects and communicate to relevant teams for resolution (fixes)
• Devise appropriate testing and validation for documented defect fixes to ensure that the initial defect was corrected, and that initial data and/or processes are not impacted
• Adhere to IT standard cutover and release management processes and protocols
• Support hyper-care transition into stability, to include Knowledge Transfer plan and transition of knowledge to production support team
• Responsible for ensuring Ball IT Governance Standards are followed and maintained for delivery of the various types of work, Projects, Enhancements, etc

Time 2 Pay Capability stakeholders including: Time 2 Pay Global Process Owner, Local Plant HR Teams, Payroll Shared Service Teams

Professional & Education Qualification
• Broad training in a related field usually acquired through college. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Job related experience for 2-5 years minimum.
• 2+ years development experience implementing solutions for complex systems support business processes.
• Experience in communicating and collaborating with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements and deliver the following artifacts as needed: (functional requirements (business requirements document), iii, use cases, GUI, screen and interface designs).
• Experience in driving process and technology re-engineering using industry practices e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, Kaizen, COBIT, ITIL, CMMi.
• Previous experience as a lead consultant (technical or functional) for a Time & Attendance implementation project
• Knowledge of Infor WFM Time & Attendance application a bonus
Skills
• Ability to negotiate with customers to promote or sell ideas or concepts.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and make recommendations.
• Ability to be flexible about project changes and dynamically mitigate risks in the moment with mid-course corrective action
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple, complex projects simultaneously
• Previous experience using report writing tools such as Cognos
Knowledge
• Working knowledge of the following areas: system and business principles, practices, nomenclature, and procedures, generally accepted managerial practices and procedures, programming, systems design, computer operating systems and utilities, project management, risk management, security, cost management, implementation and start-up of new business processes and computerized systems.
• In-depth technical knowledge and expertise in field. Strong development skills in relevant technology
• Has good analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
• Understanding of software quality principles, including test methodologies.
