Location:- Mumbai
Shift:- Rotational shift(6.30AM to 2.30PM and 2.30PM to 10.30PM and (12:45 PM TO 8:45PM, 1:45PM TO 9:45PM , 2:45 TO 10:45 PM)

Job Position Summary

To provide services to simple and medium complex Client/Carrier portfolio with Proportional Treaty placement and deal with post placement accounting activities. Ensure appropriate level of service is provided to all these Clients within their area of responsibility.

Primary Responsibilities

Trainee / Advisor and Senior Advisor

  • Processing of Client figures into our system in line with specified key performance indicators and contractual conditions
  • Acknowledge and action client\xe2\x80\x99s instructions in a timely manner and communicate pertinent information as necessary
  • Where applicable, ensure prompt chasing of accounts / claims due from clients or notify Account Manager (AM) / Client Service Advocate (CSA) to do the same
  • Receive and manage assigned clients cash calls instructions in a timely fashion to agree with the market
  • Ensure the workflow system is kept up to date with correct dates and appropriate comments
  • Understand the client\xe2\x80\x99s business and their requirements (operational and other)
  • Is aware of unpaid items and status of collection for regular update and discussion with Clients and ensures problems are escalated to management
  • Engage with Bureau markets for agreement and Xchanging offices for agreement / signing of accounts
  • Adheres to standard internal processes, policies and procedures, and other external regulatory requirements
  • Compliance with legal requirements, industry regulations, organisational policies and Willis Re best practice and professional codes
  • Ensure internal, client and market correspondence are stored on E-filing and necessary documents attached to processing system
  • Support Account and Settlement associates to ensure that all financial aspects are handled in a timely manner for the secure, efficient and auditable handling of client monies
  • Liaise with AM / CSA on a regular basis to understand and determine Client specific needs
  • Deliver as per the KPIs defined for the role. To always maintain set SLA Accuracy/quality, TAT standards prescribed by the Business Unit
Senior Advisor
  • Analyse technical Proportional Treaty client documentation / bordereaux received from assigned clients ensuring compliance with contractual conditions. Handle client queries in respect of the accounts as appropriate
  • Work independently (or with the Account Manager / Client Service Advocate) to manage and resolve queries from Clients and Claims adjusters / Reinsurers, seeking assistance as required, ensuring escalation where necessary, and resolution with minimum delay
  • Understand the contractual obligation / condition and coverage of a placement
  • Manage workload / volumes and delivery expectations as per business requirement
  • Develop a sound understanding of the business process
  • Ensure adherence to compliance and operate within the guidelines of internal and external regulators.
  • Ensure that all statutory and company procedures are followed while processing work to protect clients, colleagues and the business interests of the company
  • Ensure ongoing, effective relationships with stakeholders (Internal/external)
  • Works proactively with peer group and team members to share knowledge to achieve the best results for the clients
  • Ensure that all Financial aspects (including but not limited to Uncorrelated Cash and Bureau debt) are handled timely and where possible, pre-emptive action is taken at an appropriate level to avoid such issues occurring
  • Ensure all relevant reports (Operational and Financial) are reviewed on a timely basis and relevant comments are update
  • Support Placing team and Account Manager / Client Service Advocate by producing accurate and updated renewal information when requested
Knowledge:
  • Working knowledge of Computers (Technological efficient)
  • Relevant Insurance / Reinsurance industry experience would be beneficial
  • Awareness of basic accounting fundamentals (debit/credit
Skills:
  • Business Communication \xe2\x80\x93 Written & Verbal
  • Analytical skills (including but not limited to - Eye for detail, Interpretation of documents)
  • Basic MS Office Skills (especially, Excel and Word)
Ability:
  • To prioritise and organise tasks with minimum assistance from others
  • Demonstrate a level of Logical Thinking
  • To be coachable .
