We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled German Language Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep knowledge of the German language and culture, along with the ability to teach students of various proficiency levels effectively.

Position Overview:
As a German Language Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching German to students who are either preparing for their study abroad journey or enhancing their language skills for personal and professional growth. You will design and deliver engaging lessons, assess students' progress, and help them achieve proficiency in reading, writing, speaking, and listening in German.

Key Responsibilities:

• Language Instruction:
• Teach German at various levels (Beginner to Advanced), using a structured curriculum and up-to-date materials.
• Conduct individual and group classes focused on improving students' language skills in speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
• Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and tests in line with the curriculum.
• Use innovative and interactive teaching methods (e.g., multimedia, language games, role-play) to engage students in the learning process.
• Assessment & Feedback:
• Regularly assess students' progress through quizzes, assignments, tests, and class participation.
• Provide constructive feedback to students on their strengths and areas for improvement.
• Track student performance and ensure that learning outcomes are met according to the course objectives.
• Exam Preparation:
• Prepare students for German proficiency exams such as the Goethe Institute exams or other relevant international certifications.
• Provide practice exercises, mock tests, and exam strategies to help students achieve high scores.
• Student Support & Motivation:
• Offer guidance and personalized support to students to help them overcome challenges in language learning.
• Motivate students to build confidence in using the language in real-life scenarios (e.g., travel, academics, work).
• Encourage a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable participating and practicing the language.
• Cultural Awareness:
• Incorporate German culture, customs, and traditions into lessons to provide students with a holistic understanding of the language.
• Create opportunities for students to learn about German-speaking countries and their cultural practices, improving both linguistic and intercultural competence.
• Course Development & Improvement:
• Continuously update course content and materials based on student needs, feedback, and advancements in language learning pedagogy.
• Suggest improvements to the curriculum based on the latest trends in language education and students' feedback.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Collaborate with other team members, including counselors and academic staff, to ensure students' language training aligns with their study abroad goals.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents (if applicable) regarding progress, attendance, and course requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in German Language, Linguistics, Education, or a related field.
• Certification in German language proficiency (e.g., Goethe-Zertifikat B2/C1 ) or equivalent qualification.
• Prior experience teaching German at various levels, preferably with students preparing for exams.
• Strong communication skills in both English and German (spoken and written).
• Deep understanding of German grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
• Ability to teach using modern, interactive, and student-centric teaching methods.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to motivate and engage students.
• Knowledge of the cultural aspects of German-speaking countries and the ability to integrate that into language lessons.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in German or related field.
• Experience in preparing students for Goethe-Institut exams (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, etc.).
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and virtual classroom tools.
• Ability to teach other European languages or offer cross-cultural education is a plus.

Pay: From ?25,000.00 per month
