Position Overview:

Arteva Group is seeking an experienced Geriatric Trainer with a strong commitment to elder care and the flexibility to travel across Uttarakhand for training sessions. This role will conduct three training sessions across Uttarakhand districts, making travel essential. Only candidates who are comfortable with regular travel should apply.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Identifying the Need and Target Audience

• Conduct in-depth research on the geriatric population in Uttarakhand to assess specific caregiving needs.
• Define and engage target groups, including:
• Individuals pursuing a career in geriatric care
• Family members caring for elderly relatives
• Current caregivers looking to enhance their skills

2. Curriculum Development

• Develop a comprehensive curriculum that includes:
• Basic anatomy and physiology of aging
• Management of common age-related health conditions
• Nutrition, hydration, personal hygiene, and grooming for elderly care
• Mobility, transfer techniques, and dementia care communication strategies
• Emergency response, first aid, and psychological support
• Legal and ethical aspects of eldercare

3. Instructor Selection and Training

• Recruit experienced healthcare professionals, geriatric nurses, or social workers passionate about eldercare.
• Provide training to instructors in effective teaching methodologies and adult learning principles.

4. Training Facilities and Resources

• Ensure well-equipped training facilities and access to resources such as textbooks, manuals, audiovisual aids, and online resources.

5. Partnerships and Collaborations

• Build partnerships with healthcare institutions, government agencies, and NGOs to enhance training impact and reach.

6. Marketing and Outreach

• Design awareness campaigns and recruitment strategies to attract trainees and promote the need for trained caregivers.

7. Certification and Job Placement

• Offer certification upon successful program completion and provide job placement assistance for trainees.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Nursing, Social Work, or related fields
• Experience in eldercare, geriatric training, or healthcare
• Strong communication and teaching skills
• Willingness to travel across districts in Uttarakhand.
