Job Description

The Central GP is responsible for the overall operation and administration of the Healthcare services in the assigned region. Under general supervision of the Executive Administrator/CEO and in collaboration with the administrative team, the Medical Administrator develops, implements, and evaluates the medical practice delivery model in accordance with the goals of the organisation.

The Central GP shares in the administrative functions that directly impact medical services and collaborates with the management team in overall planning and budget activities. The Medical Administrator will assure delivery of quality services to all patients. He/She will also perform clinical responsibilities as agreed upon by the Medical Director.

Role and Responsibilities Management Functions:

1.

Participates in the recruitment and selection process for medical staff.

2.

Performs clinical supervision of medical staff, including regular performance appraisals and feedback to staff.

3.

Provides supervision of clinical scheduling, call and leave for medical staff.

4.

Provides supervision of continuing professional education, in-service training and orientation of new medical staff.

5.

Ensures integration of medical services into Stemz overall comprehensive services.

6.

Advises on purchase of medical equipment.

7.

Leads planning for the development of new clinical programs.

8.

Provides counsel in personnel matters relating to the clinical staff.

9.

Facilitates medical staff/provider meetings.

1. Performs or delegates responsibility for quarterly medical record reviews for all medical staff focusing on quality of care and appropriate coding.

10. Supervises physicians and nurses and other medical staff across the assigned region

Administrative Functions:

1.

Development of standards and qualifications for medical personnel.

2.

Approval of medical practice procedures and policies.

3.

Keeps abreast of the healthcare and medical regulations and advises management team on necessary changes.

4.

Provides clinical guidance and regularly reports on clinical activities to the management.

5.

Reviews clinical and patient care contracts for services provided to or by the organisation

6.

Performs periodic review of practice management functions.

7.

Serves as a liaison between medical staff and administration.

8.

Represents the organisation at local medical societies, hospitals, professional organizations, groups and agencies.

9.

Advises on schedules of fees (and related discounts for services to patients, as appropriate) to be charged for professional services rendered by the organisation.

10.

Participates, in conjunction with the management team, in the overall budget planning and monitoring process; reviews the formulation and evaluation of project goals and budgets.

Essential Functions:

Manage and review all diagnostic reports including X-Ray and Laboratory to judge effectiveness of operation, utilization of employees and supplies, and general ethical and professional atmosphere is maintained.

Setting out guidelines for work schedules across the assigned region

?

Annual personnel performance evaluation

?

Validating the daily quality control.

?

Finally validating all Diagnostics reports. Double Check the lab results when ready, until we make sure of all systems competency. (Verifying the accuracy of tests)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ?1,200,000.00 per year
