RetailCanvas is a passionate curator of hand-made home decor products, dedicated to bringing unique, artisanal designs to customers. We are an exclusively online store without any physical stores where we value craftsmanship, creativity, and sustainability. We are looking for a talented Merchandiser to help elevate our brand and product offerings. We are a startup based in Panjim, Goa.

Job Summary:

As a Merchandiser for our hand-made home decor line, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing merchandising strategies that enhance product visibility and drive sales. You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to ensure our unique products resonate with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Selection: You will be responsible for curating collections that reflect current trends and customer preferences from both local artisans as well as foreign suppliers who are in to hand-made decor and festive-decor products.
• Visual Merchandising: Create visually appealing displays for our online store that highlight the craftsmanship and uniqueness of our products. (To work in tandem with out software engineer who takes over online listing of products from you.)
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage inventory, and forecast product needs to ensure optimal availability.
• Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor offerings, and customer insights to inform merchandising strategies.
• Sales Analysis: Track and analyze sales performance, providing recommendations for product adjustments and promotions.
• Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns that align with merchandising efforts.
• Customer Engagement: Interact with customers to gather feedback and insights, helping to shape future product offerings and merchandising strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the home decor or retail industry.
• Strong understanding of visual merchandising principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Creative mindset with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and merchandising software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?12,484.99 - ?20,000.00 per month
