Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee and manage daily operations within our water infrastructure firm. The successful candidate will ensure smooth site activities, resolve any issues, ensure maintenance of project data, and liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders. The General Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining operational excellence and driving project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Daily Monitoring of Activities:
• Oversee and monitor activities across various project sites to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and address any on-site issues.
• Issue Resolution:
• Address and resolve any issues or requirements raised by the site team promptly.
• Provide support and guidance to site managers and teams to overcome challenges.
• Client Discussions and Liaison:
• Maintain strong communication with clients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
• Facilitate regular meetings and discussions with clients to provide updates and gather feedback.
• Stock and Project Data Maintenance:
• Ensure proper maintenance and accuracy of stock and project data.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Stakeholder Liaison:
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels with all project stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
• Foster positive relationships to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Day-to-Day Management:
• Manage daily functions and operations within the firm.
• Ensure all team members are aligned with project goals and timelines.
• Implement and oversee standard operating procedures to maintain high standards of performance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a management role within a similar sector.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively..
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
