General Manager - Mining

Role & Responsibilities:
- Manage Overall Mining Operation Independently. Experience to manage Two-Three Large Scale of Coal / OB production. Daily production volume is 50K - 100K CUM each. Co-ordinate with all relevant departments for better outcomes.

- Mines Designing & Planning / Analytic & Problem-Solving Skills.

- Advice to Management on all Mining related matters. Knowledge of various laws related to Open Cast Coal mines.

- Observing Statutory regulations in accordance to policies and direction of management. Adept in preparing and submitting of DGMS Return & other Statutory Returns.

- Develop strategies and action to execute Mines Operations and Fleet Management. Setting up of clear objectives and goals for the Mining Team to achieve Targeted Production levels. Must be solution oriented. Prioritize Productions.

- Looking after the Safety Measure.

- Liaison with Government Bodies. Ability to co-ordinate with all the official / staff of statutory bodies like DGMS, Law Enforcement Officer, Pollution Control Board, etc. Knowledge of Forest conservation Act / Pollution Control Act / Environment Protection Act / Etc.

- Budgeting / Cost Analysis. Ensures effective management of costs.

- Analyses Production data and reports and investigates causes of delays and deviations and ensures mitigating plans are prepared and implemented.

Qualification & Certification:

- B-Tech (Mining) & Above

- 1st Class Certificate (Coal)
