Dining is always a culinary experience with xe2x80x98The Verandahxe2x80x99, our Global Cuisine restaurant and xe2x80x98By The Bluexe2x80x99, our poolside RestoBar which offers inspired Indian cuisine.We are seeking a skilled and reliable General Maintenance Technician to join our team in Grand Mercure Bangalore. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our building systems and equipment.

• Perform routine inspections of premises and equipment
• Conduct preventative maintenance on various building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in building systems and equipment
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
• Assist in the implementation of energy-saving and sustainability initiatives
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and best practices
• Manage and prioritize multiple tasks efficiently

Qualifications

• Diploma, Degree, ITI, or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
• Proven experience as a General Maintenance Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of various maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
• Proficiency in using and maintaining a wide range of tools and equipment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
