1. Cleaning and Sanitation of Facilities
• Regularly clean and disinfect all areas, including gym equipment, weights, machines, locker rooms, showers, restrooms, and common areas.
• Use appropriate cleaning solutions to sanitize high-touch surfaces like door handles, light switches, and countertops.
• Ensure all flooring, mats, and mirrors are cleaned and free from dust and debris.
2. Equipment Maintenance and Care
• Wipe down gym equipment after use and encourage members to do the same.
• Conduct daily checks of all fitness equipment to ensure it is clean and in working condition.
• Report any malfunctioning or damaged equipment to the maintenance team or management promptly.
3. Restocking Supplies and Inventory Management
• Monitor and restock essential supplies, such as paper towels, soap, hand sanitizers, and cleaning products.
• Ensure all dispensers in restrooms and locker rooms are functional and filled.
• Maintain an organized storage area for housekeeping supplies and equipment.
4. Waste Management
• Empty trash cans and recycling bins regularly throughout the facility, particularly in high-traffic areas.
• Dispose of waste in accordance with health and safety regulations, ensuring no overflow.
• Ensure all bins are cleaned and sanitized before replacing liners.
5. Routine Inspections and Reporting
• Conduct routine checks throughout the day to ensure the cleanliness and readiness of all gym areas.
• Report any maintenance issues, such as plumbing, lighting, or HVAC problems, to management immediately.
• Document completed cleaning tasks and any identified issues for quality control and accountability.
6. Health and Safety Compliance
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, ensuring proper handling and storage of cleaning agents.
• Use protective equipment when necessary to prevent exposure to cleaning chemicals.
• Ensure wet floors are marked with caution signs to prevent accidents and injuries.
7. Member Assistance and Professional Conduct
