Job Responsibilities:
• Patient care : Assisting patients with personal hygiene, delivering meals, and answering call lights.
• Patient comfort : Using resources to make patients more comfortable.
• Patient transportation : Moving patients to different rooms.
• Record keeping : Completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
• Reporting : Notifying nursing supervisors of observations about patients.

• Interpersonal skills : Be able to interact with patients in a way that is bedside manner-appropriate
• Multitasking : Be able to manage time effectively
• Infection control : Understand basic infection control practices
• Safety : Be able to promote a safe and healthy environment
To become a hospital attendant, you may need: prior work experience in a clinical environment, on-the-job training, a physical examination, health tests, and a criminal background check.
