Job Description




The AI Conversing SRE is responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of conversational AI systems and services. This role focuses on deploying, monitoring, and maintaining chatbots, virtual assistants, and natural language processing (NLP)-based systems. You will collaborate with AI/ML engineers, developers, and operations teams to deliver high-performance AI solutions for real-time user interactions.


Typical Responsibilities

Candidate Requirements


Technical Skills:


Strong proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or Go.


Experience with conversational AI platforms and frameworks (e.g., Rasa, Dialogflow, Amazon Lex, Microsoft Bot Framework).


Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).


Proficient in managing cloud-based AI services on AWS, Azure, or GCP.


Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).


Familiarity with NLP concepts and libraries such as spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, or NLTK.


Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.


Education and Experience:


Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


Five years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or AI/ML operations roles, with specific experience in conversational AI.


Soft Skills


Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.


Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.


Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Nice-to-Have:


Experience with A/B testing and user feedback loops for conversational systems.


Knowledge of voice assistants and speech-to-text technologies.


Familiarity with advanced NLP techniques like fine-tuning transformers or intent recognition.


Certifications in cloud platforms or conversational AI frameworks.
