• Provide solution architecture support to projects where required ensuring that solution defined meets business needs, is aligned to functional and target architecture with any deviations approved.
• Analyze and propose plan to demise legacy systems.
• Ensure that any new technology products are taken through the technology design governance process.
• Mentor and coach less experienced members of staff and promotes an understanding of the value of architecture and of use of technologies and standards in their domain across IT.
• Informing and influencing technical decisions made at design authorities.
• Perform architecture impact assessments for the application to help size and shape ideas and initiatives.
• Define standards and patterns applicable to the domain.
• Understanding the business, operational and technical context of the specific platform ecosystem
• Be part of the vendor relationship, vendor selection.
• Demonstrate thought leadership on specific topics and promote knowledge sharing across the architecture community.
• Collaborate with other architects to ensure overall integrity of roadmaps.
• Understand industry best practice and engage with strategic partners to align capabilities and influence product roadmap.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant internal instructions Functional Instruction Manual (FIMs), Group Standard Manual (GSMs), circulars) and external regulatory requirements, including the management of operational risk and adherence to the group\xe2\x80\x99s standards of ethical behaviour.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Experience on building end to end Cloud Architecture on GCP, AWS or Azure with preference to GCP.
• In-depth knowledge of GCP and Cloud technologies- Biq query, Python, Airflow, Composer
• Extensive knowledge on Micro-services, Web services and Integration styles.
• Design scalable, secure and resilient solutions utilizing cloud technologies (private/hybrid/public)
• Experience on various kinds of Databases SQL/NoSQL/Graph.
• Good Understanding of Solution architecture patterns.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills with good command of written and spoken English
• Knowledge of an Enterprise Architecture framework, e.g. TOGAF, Zachman
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and various business parties and drive all the business discussions.
• A track record of making complex business decisions with authority, even in times of ambiguity, considering the potential long-term risks and implications.
• Experience in implementing Devops in large scale organization.
• Knowledge of Agile methodology
• Experience in leading large, complex programs in data technologies
• Experience in managing teams across multiple Judistrictions
• Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively.
• Excellent command of operations risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering threats and vulnerabilities, including incident response methodologies
• Proven record of implementing best practices across engineering teams
• Experience working within financial institutions, and across several domains demonstrating the ability to understand and deliver value to the domain through technology application.
• Very good analysis and trouble shooting skills.
