Job Description

Technical Knowledge (Mandatory)


Should have good exposure on Unix/Linux commands & working experience on Windows platform.


GIT Hub (or any version control tool), Jenkins, Jenkins Pipelines, Urbon Code, Nexus, Basic SQL.


Knowledge on MS-Office (Excel).


Knowledge of a programming language will be beneficial.


Soft-Skills:


Should be able to work under pressure.


Should be able to handle requests from different people.


Should be flexible to extend working hours when needed.


Should take responsibility of the work given and complete it.


Should be self-driven to follow up with respective teams to get the work done.


Good to have (Not mandatory)

Roles and responsibilities will include but not limited to:


Conduct a system availability check and accordingly advise the project teams on the availability of systems.


Getting the respective application databases refreshed with production data as per project requirement, for this need to liaise with respective system SPOC, DBA's & Backup team.


Provision system instances as requested by the project from the respective application environment team, liaise with the system owners, infrastructure, central environment support team and others to coordinate outages as to cause minimal impact to the project on a best-endeavour basis.


Work on the preparation of environments (Getting required services/workflows started) by liaising with individual system owners as required by the project.


Works closely with the designated Test Manager to support the testing activities. They would be accountable and single point of contact for environments related activities within a project.


Work with respective system owners, ensure the total end to end test environment availability and notify project team of any issues.


Coordinate execution of end-to-end batches/end of day processing across various systems in a test environment, producing regular updates to the project and assist in progressing issues identified as a result of the processing.
