Gardener
Job Description
A garden worker, also known as a gardener, is responsible for maintaining and growing a garden to keep it healthy and beautiful. Their duties include:
• Planting : Planting, growing, and caring for annual and perennial plants
• Maintenance: Watering, fertilizing, and trimming plants
• Weeding: Controlling weeds and pests
• Landscaping: Planning, designing, and budgeting for the garden
• Equipment: Working with gardening tools and machinery, such as mowers, leaf blowers, and trimmers
• Safety: Ensuring gardening and maintenance work adhere to the proper safety and health regulations
• Training: Coaching, guiding, and mentoring junior gardeners
• Communication: Collaborating with colleagues and leadership to execute the best garden design and maintenance
• Recommendations: Recommending plant and landscape design ideas based on sunlight, soil condition, and watering needs
• Reports: Advising management on the costs of plants and garden necessities with detailed written quotations and reports
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ?13,790.96 - ?20,000.00 per month
