Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Gantry Crane Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of material handling equipment, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in sales. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and providing tailored solutions to meet their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase market share in the gantry crane segment.
- Identify target markets and potential clients.
2. Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Conduct regular follow-ups and provide excellent customer service.
3. Product Knowledge:
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of gantry crane products, features, and specifications.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings.
4. •Proposal and Quotation Preparation:•
- Prepare customized proposals and quotations based on client needs and specifications.
- Negotiate pricing and terms to close sales.
5. Market Research:
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer needs.
- Gather feedback to enhance product offerings and sales strategies.
6. Collaboration:
- Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
7. Sales Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in industrial equipment or material handling.
- Strong understanding of gantry cranes and their applications.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
- Technical background in engineering or a related field.
- Previous experience in B2B sales within the manufacturing or construction industries.
