• To provide administration of PostgreSQL databases, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• To develop and implement database security policies and procedures.
• To create and maintain database backups and recovery plans.
• To monitor database performance and optimize for optimal performance.
• TO work with developers and other technical staff to ensure that database requirements are met.
• TO troubleshoot database problems and resolve issues in a timely manner. TO stay up-to-date on PostgreSQL releases and new features

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience in PostgreSQL administration,architecture,ecurity, backups,recovery and performace tunning. Certification with PostgreSQL DBA is desired

• Strong technical skills, including proficiency in PostgreSQL, SQL, and Linux.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
