Job Title: Interior Designer Intern

Company Overview: ARGMAC is a forward-thinking interior design firm specializing in creating innovative, functional, and aesthetically pleasing spaces for residential, commercial, and hospitality clients. We are seeking a motivated and creative Interior Designer Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in the field of interior design.

Responsibilities:

• Design Assistance: Support the design team in developing interior design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.
• Research: Conduct research on materials, furniture, and design trends to support project requirements.
• Drafting and Planning: Assist in creating floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar.
• Client Meetings: Participate in client meetings and presentations, taking notes and helping prepare materials.
• Project Coordination: Help with the coordination of design projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and communicating with vendors and contractors.
• Material Selection: Assist in selecting and specifying materials, finishes, furniture, and accessories.
• Sample Management: Organize and maintain the design sample library, ensuring it is up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Site Visits: Attend site visits to assist with measurements, installations, and progress checks.
• Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support to the design team, such as scheduling meetings and managing emails.

Qualifications:

• Education: Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a Bachelor's or Master's program in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), and Microsoft Office.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio showcasing your design projects, technical drawings, and creative skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Creativity: A keen eye for design and aesthetics, with a passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces.
• Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment, taking direction and feedback positively.
• Flexibility: Willingness to take on various tasks and adapt to changing project needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior internship or work experience in interior design or a related field.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices.
• Familiarity with project management tools.

Pay: ?8,000.00 - ?12,000.00 per month
