As the Fundraising Manager, you can play a crucialrole in helping drive this period of change.THE POSITION:The Fundraising Manager is primarily responsible for New Donor acquisition and largegrants fundraising from private and public sector companies, HNI's, and grant makingfoundations in India and overseas. Research and identifyvarious funding opportunities to be pursued byKshamata\xef\x82\xb7 Research prospects to assess their \'interest\' andalignment with Kshamata s mission & program areas\xef\x82\xb7 Update all interactions with prospects regularly,review actions with Managing Trustee/ ProgramsDirector and ensure effective follow ups and\xef\x82\xb7 Working with current and prospective key supportersand stakeholders to tap new networksRETAIL FUNDRAISING(MONTHLY AND ONETIME)\xef\x82\xb7 Provide inputs and drive the activities on behalf ofKshamata - giving campaigns and platforms forfundraising, such as \'Daan Utsav, marathons, causerelated events, etc.\xef\x82\xb7 Quarterly and annual retail fundraising strategy\xef\x82\xb7 Organise and anchor a Charity /Fundraising event(offline)\xef\x82\xb7 Building a supportive community online for Kshamata,individuals commit to give on a regular basis\xef\x82\xb7 Design and implement communication with individualdonorsDONOR STEWARDSHIPDevelopment and implementation of a detailed donorstewardship strategy to recognize, thank and reward donorsto ensure they give time and again.\xef\x82\xb7 Develop a calendar for donor stewardship withreminders for at least 3 touch points per donorthroughout the year.\xef\x82\xb7 Develop and maintain a strong internal system to builddonor relationships for retention, upscaling of supportand referrals/recommendations to other prospects.\xef\x82\xb7 Support and implement initiatives for donor retentionsuch as campaigns and events to promote long-termfunding support.TAPPING VARIOUSFUNDRAISINGPLATFORMS\xef\x82\xb7 Participate in platforms for networking and fundraising& subscriptions to databases of companies, HNIs(when necessary) and fundraising websites\xef\x82\xb7 Explore Cause related Marketing initiative\xef\x82\xb7 Any other activity as directed by theTrustees/Programs Director\xef\x82\xb7 Support in online applicationsSET UP MEETINGS &FOLLOW UP\xef\x82\xb7 Set up meetings with the senior management teammembers (such as HR head, CSR head, Marketing headand Head of Corporate Affairs) of the potentialcorporate organizations & Foundations & Family Trusts(institutional donors).\xef\x82\xb7 Effective follow up and relationship building withprospects to drive discussions forward into thedecision to fund and support Kshamata .REPRESENT KSHAMATAAT KEY EVENTS\xef\x82\xb7 Represent Kshamata at different corporate forums andevents, CSR seminars and conferences to network withprospective donors and improve the visibility of theorganization.QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEQualifications:Graduate/postgraduate in Social Work or Business (Sales & Marketing) from a recognisedUniversityExperience:\xef\x82\xb7 3-4 years experience in a Fundraising role with a recognised Indian or InternationalNGO.\xef\x82\xb7 Fair understanding and demonstrable experience of the fundraising process andtrack record of success in developing relationships with new prospects andconverting them into supporters and achieving fundraising targets.\xef\x82\xb7 Understanding of Large Grants Fundraising context in India/ abroad and prospectdonor target markets, i.e. HNI, CSR, Indian and International grant makingFoundations.BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES\xef\x82\xb7 Excellent written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills in English.\xef\x82\xb7 A good track record in writing and winning fundraising proposals and applications.\xef\x82\xb7 Expertise in creating and delivering compelling and persuasive presentations.\xef\x82\xb7 Strong time management skills and adherence to deadlines.\xef\x82\xb7 Highly disciplined and able to work without supervision.\xef\x82\xb7 Proficiency in MS Office - Word, PowerPoint and Excel.\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to multitask and handle a variety of tasks at once.\xef\x82\xb7 Ability to take initiative and drive projects through to completion.\xef\x82\xb7 Excellent networking and interpersonal skills that facilitate strong relationships witha wide range of people.\xef\x82\xb7 Commitment to Kshamatas mission and goals.Job Type: Full-timePay: \xe2\x82\xb950,000.00 - \xe2\x82\xb960,000.00 per monthSchedule:
