Job Description

This is a role as a Fundraising Executive at JOYWING Foundation . As a Fundraising Executive, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day fundraising activities, developing and implementing fundraising strategies, communicating with major donors and charities, and overseeing annual giving campaigns. This role is located in Jaipur and requires on-site presence.

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT OF ANNUAL FUNDRAISING PLANS

• Provide inputs to the management team for the development of annual fundraising strategy and plans
• Coordinate all fundraising activities internally

RESEARCH & IDENTIFICATION OF PROSPECTS FOR NEW DONOR ACCQUISITION

• Identify prospective donors, develop and manage a detailed prospect database and maintain an active pipeline of prospective donors
• Research prospects to assess their 'interest' and alignment with Joywing's mission & program areas
• Research and conduct due diligence on Corporates/ potential donors to ensure compliance to JOYWING's ethical guidelines and policies, prior to formal engagement with them.
• Coordinate with Regional/State Program Managers for donor prospecting and acquisition process in the particular Region/State.
• Update all interactions with prospects on the Donor Management
• Tracker regularly, review actions with Managing Trustee/ Executive Director and ensure effective follow ups and
• Report to the management team on progress and opportunities.
• Research and identify other funding opportunities to be pursued by Joywing.

PITCH PRESENTATIONS & FOLLOW UP

• Set up and conduct face to face meetings, independently and with the support of the Managing Trustee/Executive Director with the senior management teams (such as HR head, CSR head, Marketing head and Head of Corporate Affairs) of potential corporate organizations & Foundations.
• Develop key pitch presentations to introduce the work of JOYWING, explain the organisation's focus and Programs areas and effectively showcase the work currently being done.
• Explore and implement various avenues, ideas and opportunities of mutual areas of interest with potential donors.
• Effective follow up and relationship building with prospects to drive discussions forward into the decision to fund and support JOYWING.

DEVELOPMENT OF GRANT PROPOSALS

• Lead the development of grant applications, tailored proposals and budgets in coordination with programs teams and submission as per proposal deadlines.
• Develop a grant-funding calendar and adhere to strict reporting and grant acquittal timelines.
• Submission of various documentation and certifications to support proposals and grant applications, as requested by prospective donors.

DONOR SERVICING & KEY ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

• Provide timely resolution to queries raised by donors in collaboration with Programme teams.
• Ensure timely reporting to donors in relevant formats, in collaboration with
• Program Managers and Communications Team.
• Oversee donor administration and communications to ensure timely, accurate and effective donor servicing in terms of the standard processes such as, timely dispatch of donorreceipts, tax certificates, sharing the annual reports, newsletters etc - in collaboration with administration, accounts and communications teams.
• Provide relevant inputs for the creation of grant agreements/contracts with the donors.
• Coordinate program visits for prospective donors.
• Support initiatives for donor retention such as campaigns and events to promote long-term funding support.

REPRESENT JOYWING AT KEY EVENTS

Represent JOYWING at different corporate forums and events, CSR seminars and conferences to network with prospective donors and improve the visibility of the organization.

OTHER

Any other activity as directed by Executive Director/ Managing Trustee

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Qualifications: Graduate/postgraduate in Social Work or Business (Sales & Marketing) from a recognised University

Age: 20-30 years

Experience:

• 1-3 years' experience in a Fundraising role with a recognised Indian or International NGO.
• Established understanding and demonstrable experience of the fundraising process and track record of success in developing relationships with new prospects and converting them into supporters and achieving fundraising targets.
• Understanding of Large Grants Fundraising context in India/ abroad and prospect donor target markets, i.e. HNI, CSR, Indian and International grant making Foundations.

BEHAVIOURAL SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Excellent written, verbal, and telephonic communication skills in English.
• A good track record in writing and winning fundraising proposals and applications.
• Expertise in creating and delivering compelling and persuasive presentations.
• Strong time management skills and adherence to deadlines.
• Highly disciplined and able to work without supervision.
• Proficiency in MS Office - Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Ability to multitask and handle a variety of projects at once.
• Ability to take initiative and drive projects through to completion.
• Excellent networking and interpersonal skills that facilitate strong relationships with a wide range of people.
• Commitment to JOYWING mission and goals.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Internship
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?20,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 40 per week
