Key Responsibilities / Functions / Role:
\xef\x82\xb7 Preparation/review of financial statements/regulatory reports like- Balance sheet, P&L, SOI, Notes to financial statements. Understanding of regulatory disclosures like form PF
\xef\x82\xb7 Acting as subject matter expert for the team. Following US GAAPs, IFRS, Lux GAAPs and IRISH GAAPs.
\xef\x82\xb7 Manage a team of professional to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team
\xef\x82\xb7 Identify Opportunities to implement process improvement & recommend system, service & process enhancement initiatives and efficiency gain
\xef\x82\xb7 Engage as an active collaborator with business / Onshore teams to ensure alignment with key stakeholders in Business, Ops and Technology
\xef\x82\xb7 During Confluence migration focus on transparency, timely escalation, cross site collaboration, shared learnings
\xef\x82\xb7 Successful implementation of key client onboarding initiatives on Confluence
\xef\x82\xb7 Develop a strong governance & control structure, support audits, interfacing with auditors & close process gaps
\xef\x82\xb7 Act as Confluence system SMEs as required & support the testing & rollout of the applications across the FR
\xef\x82\xb7 Actively participate in Productivity workgroup and contribute to the success of the workgroup
\xef\x82\xb7 Preparation of MIS, Meet SLAs, engage GPC site level priority workgroups & contribute to project deliverables
\xef\x82\xb7 Proactively balance team resources and workflow requirements
\xef\x82\xb7 Perform all aspects of people management, including annual performance management cycle, hiring, feedback, mentoring and training
Desired Candidate Profile :
\xef\x82\xb7 8-12 years of experience in Fund accounting/ Financial Reporting for hedge funds or mutual funds.
\xef\x82\xb7 M. Com, MBA, Post-Graduation from recognized business institute/university, major in Accounting or Finance.
\xef\x82\xb7 Professional qualifications like CA, CFA, and CPA will be an added advantage.
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience with Confluence Unity financial reporting platform, Publishing and Workbook functionality, is a plus
\xef\x82\xb7 3-5 years of people management experience required.
\xef\x82\xb7 Demonstrate leadership & management skills, ability to work in team-oriented environment
\xef\x82\xb7 Should have sound understanding of Derivatives, Equities and Fixed income securities.
\xef\x82\xb7 Prior working experience in BPO/captive on capital markets back office processes, is a plus.
\xef\x82\xb7 Experience in process set-up/migration of work from onshore would be preferred
