Software Test EngineeringGeneral Summary:Responsibilities:
The engineers role would be to support testing efforts for XR sw stack and adjacent technologies like game/3d app dev kits (unity 3d, unreal engine), connectivity (usb, wifi 6, Wifi 6E), multimedia(video, camera, graphics, audio, display). Primary responsibilities will be to write and execute testcases and device automation.
\xc2\xb7 Evaluate technologies, systems, and devices through testing, logging and analysis.
\xc2\xb7 Candidate must be able to create test environments using software and hardware tools.
\xc2\xb7 Develop test procedures, execute tests, and isolate problems.
\xc2\xb7 Develop automation systems for executing tests and parsing results.\xc2\xb7 Develop app/test content for exercising new features.
\xc2\xb7 Actively study user experience to improve customer experience on Qualcomm MM solution across ARM based chipset productThe Engineer must have a good understanding of Augmented/Virtual Reality technologies and multimedia technologies of Graphics, Video and Camera.Required Qualifications:
\xc2\xb7 Experience working with Windows, Linux and Android.
\xc2\xb7 Expertise on Windows and Linux OS concepts and tools - bat script, linux commands.
\xc2\xb7 Expert in C/C++/Python programming
\xc2\xb7 Outstanding problem-solving skills
\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication and team working skills.
\xc2\xb7 Physical presence in Qualcomm Bangalore office is expectedMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.Preferred additional qualifications:
\xc2\xb7 Expertise in Augmented/Virtual Reality technologies - 6DOF tracking, OpenXR, OpenVR, WebXR
\xc2\xb7 Experience in testing applications/software on Windows, Linux and Android.
\xc2\xb7 Experience with development of 3D experiences - games/apps using SDKs like Unity and Unreal.\xc2\xb7 Expertise in Video technologies - Video Decode & Encode techniques
\xc2\xb7 Data analysis, automation and scripting - Python programming
\xc2\xb7 Experience with image processing and computer graphics pipelines and architecture
\xc2\xb7 Expertise in AI/Machine Learning technologies
