Information about department:Connectivity Services at Vitesco Technologies handles all network-related matters, including Local Area Networks, Firewalls, Wide Area Network, Internet, and external connections. This globally distributed team within the IT Infrastructure area plans, builds, and operates these environments with partners and stakeholders.We are seeking a proactive Network Operations and Security Specialist with extensive experience in enhancing our operational effectiveness and cybersecurity resilience, particularly in supporting global LAN and Campus Firewall Services across IT and OT areas at over 50 locations worldwide.: Your responsibilities

• Expert Support: Providing expert support for global LAN and Campus Firewall Services, ensuring stable and secure network operations for the Asia region.
• Service Development & Enhancement: Proactively increasing operational effectiveness and cybersecurity resilience within the Local Area Network and Campus Firewall Services.
• Network Monitoring & Optimization: Monitoring and optimizing the network infrastructure to proactively identify and resolve issues and potential bottlenecks.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Serving as contact for internal stakeholders and globally distributed locations (focus Asia), fostering strong communication and support.
• Training & Counseling: Creating training documents and presentations, offering counseling and expertise to stakeholders.
• Policy Development: Developing and improving network management policies and procedures to ensure best practices.
• Service Lifecycle Management: Involvement in all phases of service delivery, including planning, architecture, setup, and ongoing operation.
• Provider Management: Managing providers for problem resolution, collaborating with internal locations and external service providers during escalations.
• Global Project Collaboration: Participating in global projects within an international environment, bringing valuable insights and expertise.

Job Requirements: Your qualification

• 5-7 years of experience in network domain.
• Advanced Firewalling Expertise: Proficient in the architecture, design, and operation of firewalls, especially with Cisco and Palo Alto solutions. Adept at implementing robust security measures to protect network integrity.
• Network Architecture: Experienced in building and optimizing network infrastructures to ensure high performance and reliability. Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex Local Area Network and Firewall related network issues.
• Automation and Scripting: Competent in automating network management tasks through scripting, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual workload.
• Collaboration: Confident in collaborating with external partners to achieve common goals. Strong communication skills to ensure effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in written and spoken English, meeting B2 proficiency standards or higher, ensuring clear and effective communication.
