• Responsible for hands-on design, build and delivery of new as well as existing services.
• Responsible for supporting the application and services in production. Using monitoring tools to manage applications and respond to technical alerts raised.
• Responsible for Maintaining operational stability, integrity and availability of products and services.
• Responsible for adoption of Industry standard best practices
• Identifies and removes barriers to success. Always acts in the HSBC\xe2\x80\x99s best interests and willing to openly discuss potentially difficult topics.
• Promotes and takes accountability for quality; identifies opportunities to improve delivery quality and oversees the governance process to reduce risk and ensure effective and timely decisions.
• Promotes a positive work culture based on respect for people, integrity of actions, creativity and collaboration leading to increased productivity.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience in requirement gathering, coding, testing, deployment, monitoring and alerting mechanism, metrics collection.
• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring (CORE, AOP, REST)
• Strong hands-on experience in extracting and transforming data using Spark framework
• Strong hands-on experience software development life and DevOps tooling (e.g Jenkins, Git, Ansible, maven) and Agile Methodology
• Strong hands-on experience in RDBMS and No SQL databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL.
• Strong hands-on experience of Kubernetes, Docker, Solace, Maven, Jenkins Pipelines and worked on different design patterns.
• Working understanding of service-based architecture with good interface practices.
• Good to have experience with scripting knowledge, business rule technology like Drools
• Good to have work experience in highly scalable and data intensive application.
