Start your journey.What Youll Do on a Typical Day:Design, Code and implement solutions from concept to final hand-off to customersEstimate technical effort, work breakdown structure, risks and dependenciesOptimize APIs for maximum performance, reliability and scalabilityAnalyze and resolve technical and application problemsEstablish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standardsContribute to and work with fellow engineers, designers and other partners to develop and maintain applicationCollaborate with other engineers, participate in code review, contribute in design reviewExperiment with new and emerging technologiesWhat Were Looking For :Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or in STEM Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)5 years in depth experience in Java/J2EE, Java8+, React JS, Node JS, multithreading, Spring Boot, Micro services, JPA, JUnit, Mocking Frameworks, TDDStrong experience in designing, building and maintaining RESTful APIsStrong experience in microservices frameworkStrong experience in data structures, algorithms and design patternsExperience in ReactJS and the ecosystem around it, debugging, building and manipulating DOM's (desired)Experience with throughput batch processing and/or streaming systems (Kafka, Spark)Experience in SQL (MS SQL, Postgress) databases and No-SQL (Cassandra)Experience in Cloud technologies like Containers, Kubernetes, DockerExperience in continuous integration, deployment, production monitoring, and zero downtime systemsExperience in AWS is a plusKnowledge in Travel industry is a plusTeam player with a curious mindset willing to take on new challengesFluent in EnglishLocation India - Karnataka - BangaloreThe #TeamGBT ExperienceWork and life: Find your happy medium at Amex GBT.Flexible benefits are tailored to each country and start the day you do.
