• Design and engineer software with the customer/user experience as a key objective.
• Work within a feature team to engineer software, scripts and tools to enable the delivery of bank\'s products and services.
• Design, develop and deploy applications capable of meeting the anticipated load, performance, availability, security and resilience requirements.
• Design and develop software with a focus on automation of building, testing and deployment process on all environments to minimize variation and ensure predictable high-quality code and data.
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant controls and standards including relevant IT Development and Service Management Standards. Ensure high data quality exists in Service Management systems of record.
• Provide support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service, as directed by leadership of the DevOps team.
• Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered.
• Responsible for automating the continuous integration/continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement.
• Keep up-to-date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable.
• Manage and support junior members of the team where required. Coordinate different projects and provide inputs to different stakeholders.
• Person should be able to handle multiple projects and programs within same timeline. Should be hands-on on Mainframe and developing the modules throughout.
• Raising the RISK, Issues and Assumptions on time and get it confirmed with the program team. Developing / enhancing the modules for any new / ongoing requirement
• Participate and own the design and technical reviews and provide inputs. Review the deliverables and ensure the quality of the product. Track the review actions till closure.
• Allocate work with team members and ensure the resource utilization. Initiate process and quality improvement initiatives.

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

• IBM zSeries Mainframe system development background
• Relevant work experience of 10+ years in COBOL, CICS, VSAM, SELCOPY, DB2, SQL, JCL, REXX
• DevOps Tooling and Automation: Jenkins Zoom, IBM iDZ, Cobol Analyzer, Sonar Qube, XA Tester, TOSCA, Checkmarx, Secure Code Warrior
• Collaboration Tools: JIRA, Confluence, Filenet
• Knowledge on Rdz and its different functions
• Methodology: Agile / Safe Agile software development
• Change Management, Risk Management, Service Management
• Managing and supporting small teams of Development and Test Engineers
• Proven experience of ensuring own/others\' compliance with relevant standards and regulatory processes.
• Insurance Business and Insurance Policy Administration systems knowledge.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills; an ability to communicate with impact, ensuring complex information is articulated in a meaningful way to wide and varied audience.
• Team Player who is self and quick learner and is comfortable working with teams in multiple locations.
• Good Analytical and problem-solving skills with proven experience in managing a team.
• Who can take complete ownership of assigned tasks, be accountable and committed.
• Hardworking and flexible to work based on project demands.
• Must have hands on experience into end-to-end impact analysis, creating high and low level design.
