Job TitleFull Stack Developer - ManagerRole Summary&Role DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both the front-end and back-end components of our web applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other developers to create high-quality, scalable, and efficient software solutions.

• Design and Development: Build and maintain user-facing features for web applications, including responsive web design, efficient data handling, and effective API integration.
• Full Stack Engineering: Develop both front-end and back-end components of applications. This includes writing clean, maintainable code and implementing new features as well as fixing bugs.
• Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software on time.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure best practices in coding and development processes.
• Optimization: Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
• Testing and Debugging: Write and execute unit tests, conduct thorough debugging, and ensure applications are robust and reliable.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, processes, and design decisions.

Core/Must have skillsExperience: 10+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.Front-End Technologies: Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Experiece with front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.Back-End Technologies: Experience with server-side languages and frameworks such as Node.js, Python, Ruby on Rails, Java, or .NET.Database Management: Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis).Version Control: Experience with version control systems like Git and platforms like GitHub or GitLab.API Development: Experience with designing and consuming RESTful APIs and knowledge of GraphQL is a plus.Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Good to have skillsDevOps Practices: Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Agile Methodologies: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Design: Basic understanding of UX/UI design principles.Work ScheduleHybridKeywords (If any)Why this role is important to usOur technology function, Global Technology Services (GTS), is vital to State Street and is the key enabler for our business to deliver data and insights to our clients.
