Department Overview

The Cloud Infrastructure Engineering team is responsible for the development and operations of critical cloud infrastructure and platform services, in support of Motorola Solutions' public and hybrid cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions for public safety customers. This team is part of Motorola Solutions' Software Enterprise division, which offers secure, reliable and efficient team communications, workflow and operational intelligence solutions for mission critical public safety and enterprise markets throughout the world. Our services leverage Cloud Computing infrastructure on Azure to build at scale.

We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with expertise in building applications using microservice architecture. The ideal candidate will have experience working with various programming languages, such as Python, and NodeJS (JavaScript), and be able to create efficient and scalable microservices.



Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and deploying microservices for applications
• Collaborating with the development team to ensure efficient communication between microservices
• Creating efficient and scalable microservices architecture
• Troubleshooting issues in microservices and ensuring seamless integration
• Staying up-to-date with new technologies and programming languages relevant to microservices development


Basic Requirements
-----------------------


Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 3+ years of experience in software development
• Expertise in building applications using microservice architecture
• Experience working with programming languages such as Python, and NodeJS (JavaScript)
• Understanding of RESTful API design and development
• Strong problem solving ability and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills



Good to have:

• Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
