Job Title: Full Stack Developer - MERN Stack

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to lead the development of web-based educational platforms and applications. The Developer will play a critical role in the design, development, and maintenance of our Edtech solutions, contributing to the improvement of online learning experiences for our users.

Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of web developers, providing technical guidance and support to junior developers in the development and maintenance of web applications.
• Full-Stack Development: Oversee both front-end and back-end development, ensuring the creation of robust, scalable, and high-performance web applications.
• Architecture and Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design the architecture and user interfaces of web applications, focusing on user experience and educational objectives.
• Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies, and provide recommendations for their adoption to improve our Edtech solutions.
• Project Management: Lead the development of complex projects, establish project timelines, allocate resources, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Integration: Integrate third-party tools, APIs, and learning management systems (LMS) into the web platform to enhance functionality.
• Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure the highest quality of web applications through thorough testing and debugging.
• Scalability: Architect and develop web applications that can scale to accommodate a growing user base and evolving educational needs.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor web application performance and implement optimizations for faster load times and improved user experience.
• Security: Lead the development and implementation of security measures to protect user data and educational content, ensuring compliance with data protection regulations.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for web development projects to ensure knowledge transfer and facilitate collaboration among team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum 4 years of proven experience in web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing complex web development projects.
• Expertise in web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and proficiency in web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
• Strong expertise in back-end development technologies and languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby).
• Extensive experience with databases and database management systems (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
• Advanced knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and project management tools.
• Deep understanding of web security best practices and data protection regulations.
• Proven experience with responsive design and mobile-first development principles.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
• A passion for education and a commitment to staying updated on the latest trends and technologies in both web development and education technology.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?300,000.00 - ?1,000,000.00 per year
