About Us: Power Foundation of India is a think tank and a policy advocacy organisation in the Power Sector. It is a society registered under the aegis of the Ministry of Power, Government of India. It is supported by twelve leading power sector organisations. The Power Foundation of India conducts independent, evidence-based research on issues and challenges pertaining to the power sector to uncover valuable insights and solutions. Our studies encompass diverse aspects related to the generation, transmission, distribution, trading of electricity, energy transition, renewable and environment sustainability. The Foundation also designs and implements consumer campaigns and outreach programs on relevant themes related to the Power sector. Through these campaigns and outreach efforts, the organization is dedicated to enhancing consumer knowledge and engagement in the power sector, contributing to a more environmentally friendly and economically responsible energy landscape. : We are seeking a talented and experienced Full Stack Data Scientist with a strong background in Data Analytics & Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for turning complex data into meaningful insights and be able to effectively communicate those insights through compelling data visualizations. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams from Power Sector to extract, analyse, and create data visualization to enable development of insights and informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Data Analysis: Collect, clean, and preprocess data from various sources including Web, PDFs Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and outliers. Develop predictive models and statistical analysis to solve business problems Automation of the data pipeline Data Visualization: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their data visualization needs and provide solutions. Create interactive and appealing data visualizations using tools such as Tableau or Power BI Design and implement dashboards and reports to effectively communicate data insights. Must Have Skillsets : Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with a strong portfolio of data Engineering with visualization projects and experience in full stack Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Expert level proficiency in Python Data Base Management, Data Modelling Capability using SQL. Attention to detail and a passion for turning data into actionable insights. Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of data extraction and transformation (ETL) processes using Apache Airflow Good To Have: Machine Learning: Hands On experience in Development of models for predictive analytics, classification, and clustering. Adaptation of open source machine learning models for optimal performance. Proficiency in R, J Script, Excel VBA Experience in Power Sector Qualifications Graduate/Postgraduate or master\'s degree in CS Engineering, Statistics, STEM. Experience Minimum of 2-3 yrs. work experience in the field of Data Science
