:We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the [insert LOB or sub LOB], you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm\'s business objectives.Job responsibilities

• Participate in design and develop scalable and resilient systems in a timely manner using Java 11 and Angular to contribute to continual, iterative improvements for product teams\xe2\x80\x8b
• Design, write, comment and unit test code to confirm software modules are of the highest quality\xe2\x80\x8b
• Build Microservices that will run on the bank\'s internal cloud and the public cloud platform\xe2\x80\x8b
• Collaborate with teams in multiple regions and time zones\xe2\x80\x8b
• Participate in scrum team stand-ups, code reviews and other ceremonies, contribute to task completion and blocker resolution within your team\xe2\x80\x8b
• Handle critical and time sensitive concurrent tasks with supervision and properly escalate situations as appropriate\xe2\x80\x8b
• Write test cases, leverage unit and integration testing, develop functionality and automation\xe2\x80\x8b
• Maintain technical acumen by pursuing formal and informal learning opportunities about technology, JPMorgan Chase products, and financial services\xe2\x80\x8b
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities, to improve delivery flow across product and technology\xe2\x80\x8b

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing and operational stability\xe2\x80\x8b
• Experience in developing, debugging and maintaining code in an enterprise environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages\xe2\x80\x8b
• Experience in Angular 8 or above
• Experience is Spring & Springboot frameworks
• Great understanding in Microservice Architecture & Principles
• Should be good at analysis & debugging skills
• Strong knowledge on Distributed event processing frameworks(Preferably on Kafka)
• Strong knowledge on RDBMS
• Good knowledge on logging & monitoring tools(Splunk, Dynatrace etc.,)
• Good knowledge on Cloud Platforms(Preferably AWS)
• Good to have knowledge on Terraforms
• Good to have knowledge on Serverless Architecture
• Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle\xe2\x80\x8b
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency and Security\xe2\x80\x8b

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
• Exposure to cloud technologies
