Job Summary:



BNC has been mandated to recruit an experienced and detail-oriented professional to lead FSSAI compliance and food analysis efforts for our organization. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of FSSAI regulations, food safety standards, and lab testing protocols, preferably within the service industry. This role involves ensuring company-wide compliance with food safety laws, managing documentation and audits, and liaising with regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead and manage FSSAI regulatory compliance activities across all food-related operations. Oversee food safety audits, inspections, and internal reviews to ensure alignment with FSSAI norms. Coordinate product testing, food sample analysis, and ensure timely corrective actions for non-compliance. Maintain and update regulatory documentation, licenses, registrations (FSSAI Central/State licenses, Food Business Operator registration, etc.). Collaborate with procurement, quality assurance, and operations teams to ensure sourcing, storage, and food handling processes meet legal standards. Prepare and submit timely compliance reports and responses to authorities. Train internal teams on food safety practices, labeling guidelines, hygiene SOPs, and FSSAI updates. Act as the point of contact with regulatory bodies for inspections and certifications. Stay updated on any changes in FSSAI guidelines and proactively implement changes.

Qualifications & Skills:



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related field. Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in FSSAI compliance, food analysis, and regulatory affairs. Strong understanding of FSS Act, 2006, and its regulations & notifications. Experience in food testing, labeling norms, hygiene audits, and documentation. Experience in the service industry (hospitality/QSR/food service/catering) preferred. Proficient in handling regulatory software, reporting tools, and compliance databases. Excellent communication skills and ability to lead cross-functional compliance initiatives. Immediate joiners is preferred. Compensation: 15LPA to 16LPA
