PFB the required skill sets:

Exposure to Kernel programming and Memory management
Exposure to Distributed systems ALgorithms is plus(To take remote memory project to have replication feature).
good in debugging skills using gdb to analyze memory dumps, core dumps and dynamic tracing tools like Dtrace etc.
good in measuring and understanding network performance using tools like tcpdump,netstat etc.
Strong networking background and experience in network programming will be required.
Exposure and development experience in RDMA programming is a plus
Exposure to performance engineering is preferred
Candidates with prior work experience on vSphere/ESX would be given preference
