To perform unsupervised all laboratory procedures associated with the diagnostic and therapeutic treatment services provided by the Fertility Centre including semen analysis, sperm preparation (including donor, and surgically retrieved testicular and epididymal sperm), oocyte and embryo handling, gamete and embryo cryopreservation, clinical intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), and other micromanipulation techniques.
Greeting warmly and assisting Patients, Clients, Visitors and Guests with a 'smile' as they arrive at the Reception
Attending to Incoming & Outgoing calls with proper etiquettes and maintaining the log of related details.
- Appointments: Scheduling of the appointments on daily basis; taking calls, checking available slots, giving appointments and calling back for confirmation with date & time; informing patients, prior if there is a delay in appointment or treatment (attempt to tell them the reason for delay)
- Enquiries: Answer all calls on enquiries in discussion with the doctors concerned
- Procedures: Calling patients a day in advance of the procedure and taking their confirmation, informing the specific procedure time and reminding the patient of the pre-operative instructions
- Handling the telephone exchange within the first two rings and directing the calls to the concerned person / extension promptly; transfer of internal calls when necessary and/or connection to external calls when required from the Unit
Patient Registration: Ensure capture of all relevant patient details for new registration(s); prepare the patient files and pass the same to the nurse/doctor.
Arrange for proper time slots of the walk- in patient(s) in coordination with the Doctors
Ensure patient payments on Consultation/Investigation/ Procedure
Preparation & issual of the bill to the concerned patient/patient attendant in coordination with the nursing staff, pharmacy and doctor.
Receive payment and Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due, to patients concerned as necessary
Handover of the patient Discharge summary on procedure completion in coordination with the concerned doctor.
Forward/handover Scan reports and other medical reports to patients, as and when required by the doctors concerned
Maintaining the lobby waiting area in coordination with concerned facilities team -
- Follow-up and ensure completion of general repairs and maintenance
- Appropriate arrangement and display of brochures, patient information material and magazines/newspapers
Handle enquiries from Patients and visitors in coordination with nurses/doctors and management as necessary; sort out incoming mails at enquiry inbox in the website and distribute the same to all concerned.
Appropriately handle patient complaints and/or grievances in coordination with Management where necessary.
Calculate total payments received during a time period, and reconcile this with total sales. Compute and record totals of transactions and generate necessary MIS report.
