Schedule patient appointments, procedures, and consultations, coordinating with medical staff and other departments to optimize scheduling efficiency.
Answer incoming phone calls, inquiries, and requests, directing them to the appropriate department or personnel and providing accurate information and assistance.
Manage patient admission and discharge processes, including completing necessary paperwork, collecting payments, and coordinating with nursing staff and other departments.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area, waiting room, and lobby, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for patients and visitors.
Handle patient complaints, concerns, and inquiries with empathy, professionalism, and discretion, escalating issues to management as necessary.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and data entry to support the efficient operation of the front office.
Collaborate with other departments and personnel to facilitate effective communication and coordination of patient care.
Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and protocols related to patient confidentiality, safety, and security.
Requirements-
Bachelor\'s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
