The Front Office Executive (Receptionist) is responsible for providing excellent customer service as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, while ensuring the smooth operation of the hospital's front office.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet patients and visitors professionally and courteously.
Manage the reception area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
Answer phone calls and direct them to appropriate departments.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the calendar efficiently.
Collect and verify patient information and documents upon check-in.
Process patient admissions and discharges according to hospital procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assist patients with inquiries regarding services, insurance, and billing.
Coordinate with medical staff to ensure effective communication.
Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and faxes.
Perform general administrative tasks, including filing and data entry.
Support other departments as needed
