Job Summary:
The Front Office Executive at PRK Super Specialty Hospitals will be responsible for managing the front desk, ensuring excellent customer service, and efficiently handling administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will act as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing a welcoming and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Reception Management:
- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information regarding hospital services and facilities.
2. Appointment Coordination:
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Manage appointment cancellations and rescheduling.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date appointment records.
3. Patient Registration:
- Assist patients with the registration process.
- Verify patient information and update records in the hospital management system.
- Ensure compliance with privacy and confidentiality regulations.
4. Billing and Payments:
- Process patient payments and provide receipts.
- Assist with billing inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
- Coordinate with the billing department for accurate patient billing.
5. Administrative Support:
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is clean and organized.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and courier services.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and document preparation.
6. Customer Service:
- Address and resolve patient complaints and concerns.
- Provide information on hospital policies and procedures.
- Facilitate effective communication between patients, doctors, and hospital staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in hospitality, administration, or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Front Office Executive or similar role in a healthcare setting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and hospital management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Professional appearance and attitude.
Work Hours:
- Flexible to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
