• Guest Interaction: Greeting guests upon arrival, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures, and providing courteous and professional assistance throughout their stay. Handling guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and effectively.
• Reservation Management: Managing room reservations, including booking, cancellations, and modifications. Ensuring accuracy of guest information and preferences in the reservation system.
• Front Desk Operations: Managing the front desk area, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and handling administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and faxing.
• Payment Processing: Collecting payment for room charges, processing cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately and securely. Reconciling cash drawers and preparing daily financial reports.
• Guest Services: Providing information to guests about hotel facilities, services, local attractions, and dining options. Assisting guests with arranging transportation, booking tours, and making restaurant reservations as needed.
• Safety and Security: Ensuring the safety and security of guests and their belongings by following established procedures for key handling, monitoring surveillance cameras, and responding to emergency situations.
• Communication: Maintaining clear and effective communication with other hotel departments, including housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage, to coordinate guest services and resolve issues efficiently.
• Administrative Support: Assisting with various administrative tasks, including maintaining guest records, preparing arrival and departure lists, and organizing guest amenities and welcome packages.
• Upselling and Promotions: Identifying opportunities to upsell hotel amenities, such as room upgrades, spa services, and dining packages, to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
• Training and Development: Participating in training programs and workshops to enhance job knowledge and improve customer service skills. Adhering to hotel policies and procedures at all times.
