Job Description

Guest Check-In and Check-Out: Welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel.
Assist guests with the check-in and check-out processes, which may include verifying reservations, collecting payment, and issuing room keys.
Provide information about the hotel's services, amenities, and local attractions.

Reservations and Booking: Handle room reservations, both in person and over the phone.
Ensure accuracy of guest information and reservation details.
Maintain an organized system for managing reservations and room assignments.

Customer Service: Address guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally.
Resolve guest complaints or issues, seeking assistance from management if necessary.
Provide recommendations for dining, entertainment, and local activities.

Payment Processing: Handle cash, credit card, and other payment transactions accurately.
Prepare and present invoices and receipts to guests.
Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.

Telephone and Communication: Answer phone calls and transfer them to the appropriate department or guest room.
Take messages for guests and staff members.
Handle wake-up calls and other guest requests via phone.

Information and Assistance: Provide information about hotel policies, such as check-in/check-out times and pet policies.
Assist guests with luggage and coordinate bellboy services if available.
Arrange transportation services, including taxis and airport shuttles.

Administrative Tasks: Maintain and update guest records and profiles in the hotel's computer system.
Prepare daily reports and room occupancy statistics.
Handle the distribution of mail, faxes, and packages to guests.

Security and Safety: Monitor the lobby and entrance areas for any suspicious activity.
Follow safety and security protocols, including issuing guest room keys only to authorized individuals.
Assist with emergency procedures, such as evacuations or medical incidents.

Cash Handling and Accounting: Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and securely.
Reconcile the cash drawer at the end of each shift and report any discrepancies.
Assist with end-of-day accounting procedures.

Guest Relations: Build positive relationships with regular guests and ensure their preferences are noted and honored during their stay.
Solicit feedback from guests and use it to improve the guest experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?12,000.00 - ?15,000.00 per month
