Job Summary:
Hotel Miramar, Daman is seeking a friendly, efficient, and guest-focused Front Office Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services from the moment they arrive until their departure. This role involves managing reservations, check-ins, and check-outs, handling guest inquiries, and ensuring a smooth and welcoming front desk experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Handle guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
• Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately.
• Answer and direct phone calls and emails, addressing guest inquiries promptly.
• Assist guests with any special requests or issues during their stay.
• Maintain a neat and organized front desk area.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure rooms are prepared for guests.
• Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Provide information about the hotel, available rooms, rates, and amenities.
• Ensure compliance with all hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelors or Diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality or related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Front Office Associate or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using hotel management software (IDS) and MS Office Suite.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• A friendly and approachable demeanor with a commitment to providing outstanding guest service.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
