Front desk has a dynamic role that combines customer service, administrative tasks, and a passion for health and fitness. Here are the primary responsibilities typically associated with this position:
• Welcoming Members : Greet clients and visitors warmly, providing a positive first impression of the studio.
• Checking In Clients : Manage the check-in process for members attending classes or personal training sessions, ensuring accuracy in attendance records.
• Managing Memberships : Handle membership inquiries, sign-ups, renewals, and cancellations, while maintaining accurate membership records.
• Scheduling Classes : Assist clients in booking classes, personal training sessions, and special events, as well as updating schedules as needed.
• Providing Information : Offer information about studio programs, class schedules, trainers, and pricing, and respond to general inquiries.
• Handling Payments : Process payments for memberships, class passes, merchandise, and other services, ensuring accurate transactions.
• Maintaining Cleanliness : Help ensure the front desk and reception area are tidy and presentable, reflecting the studio's professional image.
• Addressing Concerns : Listen to and resolve any client issues or complaints, escalating concerns to management when necessary.
• Promoting Services : Upsell or promote new classes, special promotions, or fitness programs to enhance client engagement.
• Communicating with Staff : Coordinate with trainers and other staff to facilitate smooth operations and relay client needs or feedback.
• Managing Inventory : Keep track of fitness merchandise or supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and assisting with reordering as needed.
• Administrative Duties : Perform various clerical tasks, such as filing, data entry, and managing emails.
This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a passion for fitness, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
