#### Job Purpose
Monitor and control all mechanical maintenance activities, re-engineering, modification and execution work, preventive maintenance, planning and execution. Manpower material planning and supervision.
#### Job Context & Major Challenges
Job Context:
In 2019, EMIL expanded its capabilities by acquiring Pro Minerals Private Limited through the Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP). This acquisition includes a 1 MTPA Iron Ore Beneficiation and Pelletization plant located in Keonjhar District, Odisha. The plant utilizes advanced Circular Pelletizing Technology (CPT) of Primetals AG Austria and Iron Ore Beneficiation technology from Allmineral GmbH with Mechanized Raw Material Handling and Storage facilities. Some of the major challenges includes procurement of raw material at competitive price, achieve competitive conversion costs in line with peers/ competitors through debottlenecking operations, achieve and maintain peak rated capacity, ensure safe operations, develop industry benchmark practices, etc.

6.To liaison with Statutory Authorities like Chief Electrical Inspector, OPTCL, NesCo, GRIDCO, etc. for various approvals, organising for inspection of installations and obtaining the final approvals by upholding the Group Values.

KRA1 Engineering, implementation and supervision for Internal Capex projects, minor & major modification work 1. Circuit planning & modification works for improving production.
2. Detailed engineering, planning & estimations, procurement and execution for internal capex projects
KRA2 Zero unsafe incidents and man-days loss 1. Achieve zero accident.
2. Presenting toolbox talks and creating awareness among workers for equipment and worker's safety
3. Preparation & Implementation of SMP, HIRA & JSA
KRA3 Achieve targeted production with minimal machine failure or downtime in IOBP 1. Coordinating shift maintenance activities, proper utilization of skills and manpower.
2. Develop machines availability by following correct preventive maintenance procedures for reducing breakdown.
3. Take immediate action & rectify the same if any minor or major breakdown observes in equipment.
4. Preventive and breakdown maintenance planning
5. Technical support and training to workers for improving quality of job
KRA4 Daily job distribution, log sheet recording and producing safety compliances 1. Manpower allocation and scheduling for daily jobs.
2. Daily work log sheet and equipment maintenance history recording.
3. Present and implement safety compliances.
KRA5 Spares parts management & inventory 1. Spare identification and PR for both critical and non-critical machinery parts.
2. Cost minimization with proper inventory control within budgeted target
3. Periodically check the spares availability in sub-store as well as central store.
4. Forward information to SAP team regarding the all spares requirement for each equipment as per required in mean time
KRA6 Engineering, implementation and supervision for modification work 1. Circuit modification works for improving production.

KRA7 Responsible for ensure availability of the equipment Utility 1. Machine availability of Compressors, Dryers & DG
2. Maintaining Spare parts & Perform Schedule maintenance so as to provide maximum machine availability
KRA8 Manpower management & their development 1. Proper utilization of departmental workmen to extract better output from them.
2.Instruct them to follow proper SOP of every job to reduce downtime of machines.
3.Giving technical training to the workmen on the work place to enhance their knowledge
KRA9 Responsible for maintaining Housekeeping in the job holders area 1. Coordination with the housekeeping contractor. Implementation of TPM activities at site
