About the role:

CrowdStrike is looking for a Front-end Software Engineer to join our growing Surface Engineering Team. Our new colleague will be responsible for design and development of core features of the cloud services that directly relate to External Attack Surface Management (EASM). The stack used for UI development is based on Ember.js, and candidates experienced with frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue are assisted in getting up to speed. The team operates under the Agile development principles and ships frequently.

CrowdStrike is a computer security company, but we do not require candidates for this role to have prior security industry experience. We will mentor and train in security topics as needed. We do expect a strong interest in CrowdStrike\xe2\x80\x99s mission and a willingness to engage with the needs of our product teams and customers.

About the team:

You will be joining the EASM Engineering team a.k.a. CrowdStrike Falcon Surface.

Falcon Surface pinpoints unknown, exposed internet-facing assets so security teams can best secure their digital perimeter. It enables security teams to detect, prioritize, and manage all of their exposed internet-facing assets that are centralized or remote across on-premise environments, subsidiary, cloud and third-party vendors with no agents or deployment required.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:

Design and develop user interfaces for EASM users that provide visibility of the Attack Surface Management & Security Posture.

Leverage existing CrowdStrike tools and services to build User Interface systems to help detect targeted attacks.

Brainstorm, Research, Define, Communicate, Build and Lead collaboratively with members across multiple teams.

Committed to learning and improving.

Be aware of our customers and the difficulties they face and how we can support them.

A strong focus on Quality of Coding through Best Practices, Testing, Logging and Metrics.

Work in a Collaborating & Agile environment with a small fast-moving team.

Be prepared to mentor other developers on Front-end technologies and our system.

Be aware of our product to improve architecture, knowledge models, user experience, performance, and stability.

Be given the autonomy to own your work in a high trust environment.

What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Need:

Ability to develop high-quality code in JavaScript and can demonstrate that capability, be it through job experience, schoolwork, or contributions to community projects.

A minimum of 10+ years of front end frameworks for web development.

Experience with Ember.js is a plus, but not required.

Experience with Angular, React, or Vue a plus, if not experienced with Ember.js.

Experience with testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies such as Jtest, QUnit, Mocha & Selenium

Being a team player.

Product oriented approach.

Bonus Points:

Degree in Computer Science (or professional experience in data structures/algorithms/distributed systems).

Experience in Backend and Database.
